 The GIL-2001 Security Entrance Systems are the only security door systems "CERTIFIED" for Ballistics and Forced Entry by the U.S. Department of State.

GIL 2001-4DXL

 

In today's world security is not an option but an essential service, which all security provider must be certain of.
SECURITY BEGINS AT THE DOOR!
The GIL 2001-4DXL security entrance system utilizes state of the art technology to achieve the highest level of security.* It will maximize the end users return on investment, by effectively reducing annual security operational costs.

 

Operation: Access is through the first sliding semicircular wing - either by means of a push-button or any form of personal biometric verification the customer chooses. If the person entering the chamber possesses no metal objects, the first wing will close automatically and instantly signals the second door on the secure side to open. If, on the contrary, the person entering is contaminated with weapon type metal the internal metal detector will ALARM and a verbal request will be made asking that the metal objects be removed. Once the entry or exit has been completed, the entire internal volume is controlled by searching for the presence of possible objects left in the chamber by means of a sophisticated precision weighing system. If nothing is detected the door system is cleared for a new operating cycle.

 

Automation: Two-24v DC electric motors have torque and velocity controls with electronic damping controls to prevent wing oscillation when stopping. High accuracy wing position sensors with programmable limits with electronically controlled motor acceleration and deceleration to prevent mechanical and electrical noise on the Metal Detector.

 

Operating Hardware: Metal Detectors which are fully programmable. Digitally synthesized voice-messaging system. Sophisticated system to detect any object left inside the chamber* before clearing for the next usage. Anti-hostage protection to prevent simultaneous transit through the security door of two persons. Green/Red LED indication lights.

 

Safety and Emergency: Absolute absence of high voltage in the door chamber. Pneumatic safety edge* with self-regulating electronic control. Electronic motor current monitoring to detect wing movement obstruction. Photocell (ANSI) protection at each door threshold to prevent the door wings from closing on a person or object. Internal battery back-up to maintain the full operation in case of power failure. Simultaneous opening of both door panels in the event of an emergency signal. Mechanical override of door wings in the event of a motor failure.

 

Operational Software: Extremely flexible programming options to suit specific operational requirements. Extensive event reconstruction capability recording of the last 100 events labeled with the time and date of each occurrence. The GIL-2001-3 WAY Security Door System was developed, and is currently in its final test phase, for in-bound screening of passengers.

 

This complete security checkpoint was developed by GEORAL with input by the FAA, a Major Airline and Airport Authorities to establish a wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling physical barrier whereby no person can gain access to a secured area without being screened.

 

The GIL-2001-3 WAY Door automatically directs a person trying to gain access to the secured area and deemed contaminated, (carrying a weapon of sorts) into a bypass area through a side door in a side area for physical inspection and possible disarming. If the person is free of metal or other object the door to the secured area opens and the person is allowed to proceed to the aircraft boarding area. At no time is security jeopardized or breached. The physical barrier is always maintained.

 

The GIL-2001-3 WAY Security Door System keeps traffic moving forward and eliminates the back flow problems that now exist at all in-bound checkpoints. The weight link system makes sure that only one person is screened at a time while detecting any object that may be left in the chamber of the door. Consequently, operating costs are minimized based on the fact that a reduced number of security guards are needed to man a multiple check-in post.
